Privacy Policy – Image Converter PIL

1. Introduction

Image Converter PIL (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is an Android application designed to convert and edit images using the Imaging (PIL). The App works completely offline and does not require an internet connection for its core functionality.

2. Permissions & Access

• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Required only to read image files on your device. No other permissions are requested.

3. Data Collected

• Image Data: We access only the image files you select (from gallery, file manager, or folder). All processing (resize, effects, filters, format) occurs locally; images are never uploaded to any server.
• Personal Data: None collected. We do not request your name, email address, location, or any other identifying information.

4. AdMob Advertising

The App displays banner ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect data such as Advertising ID and usage patterns to serve relevant ads. For more details, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Offline-First & No Tracking

• Core features (conversion, effects, filters, resize) work entirely offline.
• No data is transmitted except for standard AdMob ad requests.
• No third-party analytics or tracking is used.

6. Cache & Local Storage

Image Converter PIL creates a local cache to speed up repeated image processing. The cache is automatically cleared every 24 hours to ensure optimal performance and protect your privacy.

7. COPPA Compliance

• The App is not directed to children under 13 years old.
• No personal information is knowingly collected from children under 13.
• If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us to request removal.

8. Security

• All image processing takes place locally on your device.
• We do not store, transmit, or backup your image files to any server.
• You are responsible for your device’s security settings (e.g., screen lock, encryption).

9. Your Rights

• Access & Control: Since we do not store personal data, there is no need to request data access or deletion.
• Permissions: You can revoke the READ_MEDIA_IMAGES permission at any time via Android settings. Revoking it will prevent the App from opening images.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will indicate the latest version.
