SAMBAS DEV built the Ghost Radar: Popup Detector app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by SAMBAS DEV at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
Ghost Radar Pro operates 100% offline on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share your personal data, app usage logs, or screen activity with any external servers, third parties, or ourselves. What happens on your device, stays on your device.
1. Information Collection and Use
To provide the core functionalities of diagnosing system interruptions and detecting hidden applications, our app requires specific system permissions. We want to be completely transparent about how these are used locally on your device:
- Usage Data Access (UsageStatsManager): This permission is strictly required for the "Popup Radar" feature. It allows the app to read your recent local screen activity history to identify which invisible background application forced a sudden screen interruption (popup). This analysis is done entirely offline. We do not track your overall app usage habits or send this data over the internet.
- Query All Packages / Installed Applications: This permission is required for the "Hidden App Detector" and "Home Screen Shield" features. It allows the app to scan the list of installed applications on your device to identify apps that do not have launcher icons (hidden apps) or apps acting as your default home screen. This list is only processed locally to generate your diagnostic report.
2. Third-Party Services
This app does not integrate with any third-party data collection services, analytics trackers, or external advertising networks that profile users. Since the app is completely offline, there is no mechanism for data to be transmitted to third parties.
3. Data Security
We value your trust in providing us the necessary device permissions to run the diagnostic engine. Because all data processing occurs locally within the isolated sandbox of your Android device, the security of your data relies on the underlying security of the Android operating system itself. We do not retain any logs after you close the application.
4. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. As our app does not collect personal data from any user, children's data is inherently safe and uncollected.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
